This forces your back to arch and hump in a forward, down position because your knees are at a lower inflection point then your lower back. By placing the pad on your knees and resting your elbows on them, it raises your inflection point and allows your back to straighten. After hours of gaming, the soreness won’t be there like usual because your back isn’t bearing any weight, instead the weight is distributed to your elbows which are resting comfortably on the pad.

A: The pad is made from a high quality, dense, polymer foam with a removable neoprene black cover that is washable. The pads total weight is less than 3 pounds so it won’t apply any extra weighted pressure on your knees.
